REDUCING SINGLE-USE PLASTIC WASTE SINCE 2017

SINGLE-USE PLASTIC BOTTLED WATER is a serious ocean plastic pollutant that is found as marine trash worldwide. The production of it is also an environmental issue because manufacturing and transporting bottled water is heavily dependant on fossil fuels.

AYER FOUNTAIN is a water refill solution designed to reduce single-use plastic water bottle waste by providing a fun, sophisticated and sustainable alternative. By refilling, we can immediately and drastically reduce plastic waste and our reliance on fossil fuels at the same time.

  • Ernest Goh

    Artist and photographer Ernest Goh’s practice has been spent looking at the environment and its creatures, trying to understand the complex yet awe-inspiring connection between our planet and its inhabitants. Ernest founded Ayer Ayer as an ecologically-engaged initiative that reaches out to communities through visual and participatory artworks. Ayer Ayer’s current focus on plastic waste in the waterways of South-East Asia has led to the creation of public art and social projects such Ubah Rumah - an art-research outpost and residency programme located on Nikoi Island, Riau, Indonesia and Ayer Fountain - a social sculpture project celebrating the humble public drinking water fountain.

    With over a decade of experience in the media industry, specialising in live entertainment and youth programming, Zu Wee has worked with major brands and networks, including Mediacorp, *SCAPE and MINDEF.     Meng Fei is a UI/UX designer and a passionate street and documentary photographer who blends creativity with purpose. Motivated by the pressing need to combat plastic waste, he began documenting impactful outreaches, visual artworks, and environmental projects, to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability. Through his lens, Meng Fei aims to inspire others to take action and make a positive difference in the world.
